The unique landscape of The Broads has resulted in a diverse wildlife population with plenty to look out for all year around.
You might be lucky enough to spot an otter, Chinese water deer, red squirrel, vole, eel, Barn owl or even the elusive adder. Grey seals are also a regular along this stretch of coast and porpoise can often be sighted from the shoreline.
The protected wetlands are home to numerous wildfowl and migrating birds species. They include the crane, heron, bittern, marsh harrier, coot, reed warbler, tern and swallow. Butterflies and dragonflies also thrive in this environment and include the beautiful British Swallowtail.
